It was a very warm day, and fortunately, we were able to shoot all (ok most) of our formals in the shade of a beautiful tree at their friends house. We also had the benefit of a fully restored, and loud, ’38 Chevy to use in some of our photos.

Kari & Derrick’s ceremony and reception was held at the Tacoma Sportsman Club, in Tacoma, WA. Over the course of the day, it was obvious to us how much this great couple love each other and their friends, and we thank you both for the opportunity and the honor of being your photographer.

We had the opportunity to photograph them together for their engagement portraits last week in Enumclaw at a place called “Hope Hill” and at Tyler’s grandmothers house. The session was extremely fun, but hot, and I only got stung one time while in the field of flowers.

We’re posting a few of those photos here for your viewing and we’ll be adding their gallery to our Zenfolio portfolio later today.

We actually took these photos a few months back at Heritage Park in Puyallup, WA and in our studio. We had such a great time with Julie over those two sessions. She is such a spark of life and we are happy to know her.

Monday marks the 1 year anniversary of their wedding-which is in actuality their 2nd anniversary. Confused? Well, Jason is serving our country in the military and was due to be deployed so they got married just before he shipped out. When he returned, about a year later, they got married again-this time with friends and family present.

This ceremony and their reception took place at the Pioneer Park Pavilion in beautiful Puyallup, WA on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon.

We are posting this video here in honor of their first, er second anniversary. Thank you for your trust and honor of being your photographer. We are so happy to hear you are in love with your photos, the album and this video.

I was privileged to take her photographs a few weeks ago, along with her older brother and sister (who were so much fun). Lily was so good-definitely the best baby we’ve ever photographed.

Congrats Andrew and Heidi on the newest addition to your family. Enjoy the video.
