Julie’s Senior Pictures

July 7, 2010

Well, I’m a goof. I admit it. In the hustle and bustle of end-of-school-year activities, weddings, other work and life in general I neglected to post our good friend Julie’s senior photographs.

We actually took these photos a few months back at Heritage Park in Puyallup, WA and in our studio. We had such a great time with Julie over those two sessions. She is such a spark of life and we are happy to know her.

So, without much more adieu, we give you a video of Julie’s Senior Pictures.

Way to go, Julie. Congrats on making it through and best wishes for much success in life.

Blessings,

Chris.

Thank You for the Thank You

May 22, 2010

One of the greatest rewards in my life are the “thank you”‘s I get from my customers. And I don’t mean the “thank you for transferring my video tape to DVD”-type of thank you. I mean the “my photographs are so awesome” sort of thank you.

Consider the following we have received:

“I would highly recommend Chris McKenna (and MVS) for anyone who wants to work with a photographer and videographer who is honest and works very hard to accomodate their clients. They have done the photography and videography of my son’s wedding (April, 2009) which also included his engagement pictures on the waterfront in Tacoma and a movie to be played at the wedding of the bride and good and family members. They also helped us put together the most beautiful wedding album I’ve ever seen (and I’m in the wedding business as a florist and see many albums, pictures, etc.).

They also did an on location session of my grandson’s first pictures. They came to the home so the baby could be in his own basinet and surrounded by his own blankets, toys, etc. I thought this was very caring and the pictures are just beautiful. This company is A#1 and I will only use and recommend them to anyone who needs a first class photographer and videographer.”

“You are a fantastic photographer, Chris! The pictures turned out incredible and you guys did a beautiful job of capturing the day! Thank you both for your photographic genius, your support and your friendship!”

~ Jodi & Alden

“I want you two to know how much we love the video you made for us. You also did a fantastic job on our pictures. You’re the best–thanks so much.”

~ Kim & Reese

“Chris and Lynette were great. They are easy to work with and our pictures are more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. They helped us out a lot of our actual wedding day and were respectful of our requests. I would highly recommend Chris McKenna (MVS)”

~ Stacy & Shaun (excerpt taken from Pictage)

“Chris is a very professional photographer who was very easy to work with. He was on time for all meetings and was very organized on the day of our wedding. I would recommend him to everyone I know. He has a great customer service attitude and his number one concern is his client’s satisfaction and happiness with his work. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and the time he spent to get the right shots on our big day. We were so glad we decided to go with Chris McKenna (MVS) for our special day. No regrets, only total satisfaction.”

~ Kristine & Andrew (excerpt taken from Pictage)

“We hope you know how much we appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put into our wedding-you worked so hard and genuinely cared about capturing the whole day!

We feel that thank you is not enough. The pictures are gorgeous and the video you did for us makes me cry every time. People at work are always commenting on how good it was (and how many people it brought tears to).

So thank you for adding that special touch!!!”

~ Sinead & Kevin

Do I need to say any more?

Another website up and going http://www.chrismckennaphoto.com

June 28, 2009

Well, I hate to say it, but I have yet another photo website up and going. You can find it at:

www.chrismckennaphoto.com

Right now, it is almost a mirror image to www.chrismckennaphotography.com. The goal with this site it to continue with my efforts to manage a website that google can actually find (I’m having all sorts of problems with the flash-driven, third-party site I currently use), to use as a proofing site for my clients, but eventually to serve as the site in which I can sell some of my work online.

Enjoy the slideshows and new site.

Blessings,

Chris

Customer Testimonial

April 24, 2009

We were at the 2010 Buckley Jr. Miss Pageant last weekend photographing the event for the contestants and their families (pictures to follow soon). While we were working to get the photos processed and online for the girls, I received a very kind note from one of the girls mothers. In it, she included the following:

“The girls were all so impressed with your professionalism and how comfortable you made them feel while taking the photos. Thanks so much! ~ Shelley Siewert ”

Thank you, Shelley, for your kind comments and thank you, 2010 Buckley Jr. Miss contestants (and 2009 ones too), for being such great photo subjects.

God’s blessings,

Chris.

Amber – Class of 2009

April 23, 2009

We have known Amber and her family for a number of years and have watched her grow into a very nice young lady. She will graduate from Emerald Ridge High School this coming June.

We were honored to be asked to take Amber’s Senior Portraits, some of which can be viewed below. We shot these photographs in and around Tacoma a few weeks back, luckily dodging the rain showers!

Thank you, Amber, for the opportunity to take your senior photographs and all our best for a wonderful future!

Chris.

Gabe – Class of 2008

April 16, 2009

Original post June, 2008.

Gabe was a great sport! With less than 1 week to go before graduation, we were a little rushed but still able to snap some wonderful photographs of him. Everyone was worried about the rain, but we managed to dodge the showers and get prints back to him and his family before the ceremony and their graduation party. Congratulations, Gabe, and best wishes for a bright future.

Below are just a few of the great photographs from his sitting.
