Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Jason

May 16, 2010

We want to wish Jennifer and Jason a very happy anniversary.

Monday marks the 1 year anniversary of their wedding-which is in actuality their 2nd anniversary. Confused? Well, Jason is serving our country in the military and was due to be deployed so they got married just before he shipped out. When he returned, about a year later, they got married again-this time with friends and family present.

This ceremony and their reception took place at the Pioneer Park Pavilion in beautiful Puyallup, WA on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon.

We are posting this video here in honor of their first, er second anniversary. Thank you for your trust and honor of being your photographer. We are so happy to hear you are in love with your photos, the album and this video.

God’s blessings,

Chris.

May 6, 2009

We are happy to help promote the Rock  Creek Gardens as one of the best places in Puyallup, WA to get married.

We met Gracie at a Chamber of Commerce function a few weeks back and she invited us out to come tour their new facility.   • rental of white reception tents, banquet and buffet tables, ceremony and reception chairs;
  • a catering room;
  • onsite parking attendants and parking for up to 150 cars;
  • complete privacy;
  • and absolutely endless opportunities for pictures.

Engagement Session of Dee & Zac

April 28, 2009

Dee and Zac are one really cool couple. We had the opportunity to photograph them this last week while they were in town (I think that I have now set a record for getting previews online). We had a great time getting to know them while shooting their pictures around the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA. The weather was awesome-we didn’t have to dodge rain showers and bird poo (my friend Michele had some experiences with this one) but we did have one unfortunate accident with doggy doo (please, please, please clean up after your pets!).  Gross but no serious harm done.

Dee and Zac will be getting married on September 5 and we are honored to be their photographers. Thanks for a great time time, guys, and enjoy the preview!

Customer Testimonial

April 24, 2009

We were at the 2010 Buckley Jr. Miss Pageant last weekend photographing the event for the contestants and their families (pictures to follow soon). While we were working to get the photos processed and online for the girls, I received a very kind note from one of the girls mothers. In it, she included the following:

“The girls were all so impressed with your professionalism and how comfortable you made them feel while taking the photos. Thanks so much! ~ Shelley Siewert ”

Thank you, Shelley, for your kind comments and thank you, 2010 Buckley Jr. Miss contestants (and 2009 ones too), for being such great photo subjects.

God’s blessings,

Chris.

Baby Sophie

April 24, 2009

We are so excited to share these photos with you. This is Baby Sophie. She is such a sweet little girl. So quiet, so mellow. But she was not feeling too good (just getting over the flu) when we photographed her a few weeks back. But she was such a good sport for only being 5 months old while and really not feeling too well.

We look forward to watching you grow up, Sophie!

Enjoy your photographs.

Amber – Class of 2009

April 23, 2009

We have known Amber and her family for a number of years and have watched her grow into a very nice young lady. She will graduate from Emerald Ridge High School this coming June.

We were honored to be asked to take Amber’s Senior Portraits, some of which can be viewed below. We shot these photographs in and around Tacoma a few weeks back, luckily dodging the rain showers!

Thank you, Amber, for the opportunity to take your senior photographs and all our best for a wonderful future!

Chris.

Alyssa and Brandon: The Movie

April 22, 2009

Ok, well maybe not a feature length movie. But certainly a small montage of their wedding photos (you can see more pictures earlier in this blog).

We were blessed to have photographed their wedding late last year and we thought it might be nice to create this short montage of some of their photographs to help tell the story of their special day.
Enjoy.

April 20, 2009

Jane and Duane have a great story about how they met, fell in love, and decided to get married. They are both wonderful people, with great kids, great family and great friends. We were made to feel so welcome and were honored to be chosen as their photographer for their wedding.

We wish them all the best for many happy, happy years together.

God’s blessings on you both.

Teresa and Brent Tie the Knot

April 16, 2009
Teresa and Brent were married in a backyard, albeit a huge backyard, ceremony last August. Lynette and I had a blast covering their wedding, even though we had to dodge a few rain showers and gusts of wind (the wind got hold of one of my umbrellas and is probably somewhere in Kansas by now). All their friends and family were present and were very easy to work with.

Thanks, Teresa and Brent, for choosing us to capture your special day. We wish you all our best for many happy years together.

Enjoy the video I put together of their wedding photos. (You can view single images of their photos on my website www.chrismckennaphotography.com).
